White House Report Card: Biden puttering through debt crisis, family scandal

This week’s White House report card finds President Joe Biden at the G7 economic summit in Japan, but his focus on the languishing debt ceiling talks on Capitol Hill.

Our conservative grader Jed Babbin dished a “D” for the week, and highlighted the growing evidence of a Biden family financial scandal that involved the president, the first son and first brother.

Our Democratic grader, John Zogby, was off this week but in his podcast with his dad, pollster Jeremy Zogby focused on the Durham report that graded a punishing review of the FBI’s handling of Russiagate. He said that those involved, including Hillary Clinton, and those linked to the Biden family issues “are guilty,” and he said that it is sad that the country is so divided that everyone doesn’t agree.

“I go back to my question, how many Americans think that way and the fact that very few do is very troubling. And I think it's very telling of the situation that we're facing in this country today,” he said on the Zogby podcast.
