The White House has no clue what is happening on the southern border

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is either willfully ignorant of what happens every day on the southern border or she is lying through her teeth.
 
At Monday’s White House press briefing, Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre to justify the double standard between President Joe Biden not allowing tennis star Novak Djokovic to enter the country without proof of vaccination while also allowing thousands of illegal immigrants into the country every day without proving they are vaccinated.
 

Reporter: “Somebody unvaccinated [legally] comes over on a plane, you say that’s not okay. Somebody [illegally] walks into Texas or Arizona unvaccinated, they’re allowed to stay?”

Jean-Pierre: “But that’s not how it works.”

Doocy: "How is it two different things? Somebody unvaccinated comes over on a plane, you say that’s not OK. Somebody walks into Texas or Arizona unvaccinated, they're allowed to stay. Why?" 

Jean-Pierre: "But that’s not how it works."

Doocy: "That is what’s happening. I know that’s not what you guys want to happen, but that is what is happening." 

Jean-Pierre: "But it's not like somebody walks over and — ha ha, that’s not how…." 

Doocy: "That is exactly what is happening. Thousands of people are walking in a day. Some of them turn themselves over. Some of them are caught. Tens of thousands a week are not. That is what is happening." 

Now, Doocy is 100% right and Jean-Pierre is 100% wrong. You can just watch one of the numerous videos taken by reporters on the border of migrants literally just walking across the boundary and surrendering to Border Patrol agents.
