Oz was defeated by Democrat John Fetterman by a margin of over 3% in the highly watched Senate race Tuesday night, the Associated Press reported. The Democrats winning Pennsylvania puts them one seat closer to winning the majority of the Senate, as Fetterman’s victory flipped a seat previously held by Republican Sen. Pat Toomey.
The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman tweeted Wednesday morning that Trump “is blaming everyone who advised him to back Oz,” citing people close to the former president. He is reportedly partly blaming his wife, who expressed her fondness of Oz to Trump earlier this year, according to NBC News.
Trump celebrated the results of the midterm results in a Truth Social post early Wednesday morning, saying it was “a great evening,” and that “the Fake News Media, together with their partner in crime, the Democrats, are doing everything possible to play it down.”Trump is indeed furious this morning, particularly about Mehmet Oz, and is blaming everyone who advised him to back Oz -- including his wife, describing it as not her best decision, according to people close to him.

He has also expressed that he will make a “very big announcement” on Nov. 15, with some speculating that he will announce his 2024 presidential campaign.
