Authorities have released roadside footage of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband slurring his words following a drunken crash in California — just hours after he pleaded guilty Tuesday to a DUI charge.

The dashcam video shows Paul Pelosi, 82, being interviewed by California Highway Patrol in the moments after the May 28 crash near Napa that left another driver injured.
In the video, first obtained by Fox News, Pelosi can be heard mumbling to an officer that he had a “glass of champagne before dinner” and also “a glass of white.”
He also told officers that he started drinking at about 7 p.m. and stopped roughly an hour later.
Officers responding to the crash after 10 p.m. said they found Pelosi in the driver’s seat of his 2021 Porsche Carrera, while the other driver — who was injured — was standing outside an SUV.
Pelosi was “unsteady on his feet, his speech was slurred, and he had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage,” officers said at the time.
