Former White House doctor for Bush, Obama, Trump says Biden must take cognitive test before debate

Representative Ronny Jackson from Texas has called for President Joe Biden to take a drug test before the upcoming presidential debate. Jackson is a former White House doctor who worked under the Trump, Obama, and Bush administrations.  

In an appearance on Fox News on Sunday, Jackson said Biden's health is a "national security issue" and emphasized the need for transparency regarding the President's physical condition leading up to the Thursday debate. 

“I’m gonna be demanding on behalf of many millions of concerned Americans right now that he submit to a drug test before and after this debate, specifically looking for performance-enhancing drugs,” Jackson said on Fox News. 

Jackson, who currently sits on the House Armed Services Committee, further asserted the importance of the issue for national security, emphasizing the necessity of having a head of state who can function daily without medication.
